Climate: Antigua is the largest Leeward Island. Dependably hot throughout the year although slightly cooler during winter. The heat is hardly ever too sticky as the humidity is counterbalanced by sea breezes. The islands are generally drier than many others in the Caribbean, with the main rainy season between Jul-Oct when torrential rain or occasional hurricanes can occur.

Clothing: Light clothes with warmer wear for odd chilly evenings in winter. Adequate rainwear for downpours during the rainy season.
