The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate.

Visas
The following DO NOT require a visa:
1) Nationals of Bahrain.
2) Nationals of Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia & United Arab Emirates.

Health risks
Bahrain is a hereditary emirate, governed by the Al-Khalifa family in consultation with a council of ministers. Islamic ideals and beliefs provide the conservative foundation of the country's customs, laws and practices. In Bahrain, a modern developed country, tourist facilities are widely available. The capital is Manama.
CRIME : Crime is not a major problem in Bahrain.
MEDICAL FACILITIES: Basic modern medical care and medicines are available in several hospitals and health centers in Bahrain.

Weather
Climate: Summer months are very hot & humid, care should be taken as heat exhaustion can be a problem. Winter months are more pleasant, although evenings can be chilly. Rainfall is low & mainly falls between Nov-Mar.
Clothing: Light clothes for summer, slightly warmer for winter.
