The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate.

Passports
Required by all
Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for 6 months from date of intended departure

Visas
The following DO NOT require a visa: 1) Nationals of Belize 2) For stays up to 30 days by: a) British subjects being `Citizen of the United Kingdom & Colonies' b) Citizens of Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominica, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Italy, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Montserrat, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Portugal, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Spain, Suriname, Swaziland, Sweden, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, United States, Uruguay, Vanuatu & Zambia.

Air Transit
Required by all except those as noted above and: 1) Persons continuing their journey to a third country by the same aircraft & not leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation (except nationals of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine & Uzbekistan).

Re-entry Permits
Required by all alien residents to be obtained prior to departure.

Special Notes
All visitors must hold onward/return tickets & sufficient funds for length of stay (visitors are required to hold specific amounts of currency per day of stay, contact nearest embassy/consulate for details).

Belize Embassy or Consulate in UK

British nationals can normally visit Belize for up to 30 days without needing to obtain a visa. However, you must ensure that your passport is stamped on entry as failure to do so can result in either a fine and/or imprisonment when you come to leave the country.
