Climate: Conditions are hot & humid all year, although strong Caribbean winds can counterbalance the humidity on the coast. The wettest period between Jun-Dec often includes heavy downpours which can also be accompanied by tropical storms or hurricanes. There is a drier period between Jan-Apr but coastal areas are subject to rain at any time.
