The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate.

Passports
Required, but NOT by the following:
1) Citizens of United States holding:
a) a valid US passport or expired US passport where the photograph still resembles the bearer.
b) Birth Certificate with raised seal or official stamp, together with photo ID, issued by a competent municipal authority.
c) United States Re-Entry Permit.
d) United States Naturalisation Certificate.
e) United States Permanent Resident Card.
2) Citizens of Canada holding:
a) a Canadian valid passport.
b) Birth Certificate or certified copy together with photo identification.
c) For people born outside Canada a Canadian Certificate of Citizenship or Permanent Resident (PR) Card.

Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for 6 months.

Visas
The following REQUIRE a visa:
1) Nationals of Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Rep, Djibouti, Egypt, Georgia, Ghana, Haiti, Hong Kong (except holders of Hong Kong S.A.R. passports or British National (Overseas) passports), Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea (North), Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam & Yemen.
2) Nationals of Slovakia travelling on Czechoslovakian passports.

Notes:
1) Visas are not required by visa controlled nationals who: have the right to reside in the United States (permanent residents), Canada (holders of Permanent Resident (PR) Card), or United Kingdom (no limit on stay in the United Kingdom) and are in possession of proof of such status & a valid
passport
2) The permitted length of stay by bona-fide visitors is determined on arrival.

Air Transit
Required by:
1) Nationals of Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Croatia, Georgia, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea (North), Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan & Vietnam who transit more than 5 hours.

Special Notes
All visitors must hold onward/return tickets & documents required for next destination, persons requiring visas to enter other countries after their stay in Bermuda must be in possession of such visas prior to arrival in Bermuda as there are no local facilities for obtaining foreign visas.

Bermuda Embassy or Consulate in UK

British passport holders do not require visas to enter Bermuda as a visitor but accommodation must be booked prior to arrival. The usual length of stay automatically permitted to a visitor is twenty-one days. Anyone travelling via the USA must have at least six months’ validity remaining on their passport.
