The largest winter carnival in the world
Quebec Winter Carnival is the largest event of its kind in the world and is considered the third largest carnival (any kind) after the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and from New Orleans, USA.
This real snow festival takes place every year since 1955, and the effigy of Carnival in Quebec is a snowman.

Every year, thousands of people storm the French city in Canada to attend the celebration of snow. The origins of carnival start from early colonization by the French zone.
Residents of New France were wont to meet family or between friends to enjoy pre-Lent celebration was in full and as snow in the area, it was the main attraction of the holiday.
