The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate.

Required by all
Passport Validity: Passports must be valid 3 months beyond intended length of stay.
Visas
The following DO NOT require a visa:
1) Nationals of Kazakhstan
2) Nationals of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan & Uzbekistan
3) For stays up to 3 months by nationals of Mongolia & Ukraine
4) For stays up to 1 month by nationals of Turkey
Notes: The issuance of tourist visas is based on the invitations of Kazakhstan licensed tourist companies authorised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, except to citizens of the following countries who do not require a letter of invitation: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom & United States.
