Passport & Visa Info
The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate.
Passports
Required by all.
Passport Validity:
1) Where a visa is not required, passports must be valid for 6 months.
2) Where a visa is required, passports must be valid for 1 year.
Visas
The following DO NOT require a visa:
1) Nationals of Korea (South).
2) For stays up to 6 months by citizens of Canada.
3) For stays up to 3 months by citizens of:
a) United Kingdom.
b) Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Rep, Denmark, Dominica, Dominican Rep, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Haiti, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Israel, Jamaica, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Peru, Poland, Romania, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago & Turkey.
4) For stays up to 2 months by citizens of Lesotho & Portugal.
5) For tourist visits up to 30 days by citizens of Albania, Argentina, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Fiji, Guam, Guatemala, Honduras, Japan, Kiribati, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Macao, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Monaco, Oman, Nauru, New Caledonia, Palau Islands, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Swaziland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City, Venezuela & Yemen.
6) For tourist visits up to 30 days by citizens of countries not listed above, except:
a) Persons who have no nationality.
b) Citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Georgia, Ghana, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Russia, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan & Vietnam.
Special Notes
All visitors must hold onward/return tickets, documents for next destination, sufficient funds for length of stay & details of address whilst in Korea (South).

korea(south) Embassy or Consulate in UK
Holders of British Citizen passports can enter South korea(south) for tourist purposes for up to 90 days without a visa. You must also have an onward or return ticket.
