Climate: Lower regions are tropical with high temperatures throughout the year and high humidity in the rainy season from Nov-Mar. In the mountain areas, conditions are cooler and more pleasant but rainfall is higher with the heaviest falls in Jan & Feb. Temperatures here during the dry season can be surprisingly cold.
