The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate.

Required by all
Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for a minimum of 3 months.
Visas
The following DO NOT require a visa:
1) Nationals of Senegal.
2) Nationals of United Kingdom.
3) Nationals of Austria, Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Canada, Cape Verde, Central African Rep, Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Denmark, Finland, France, Gabon, Gambia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ireland Rep, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Netherlands, Niger, Portugal, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Togo, Tunisia & United States.
Air Transit
Required by all except those as noted above and:
1) Persons continuing their journey by the same service or transferring to another service provided holding confirmed onward tickets.
Re-entry Permits
Required by all alien residents holding an Identity Card, except nationals of France, wishing to return.
Special Notes
All visitors must hold onward/return tickets.

Senegal Embassy or Consulate in UK
UK passport holders do not need a visa to enter Senegal for periods of less than three months. Travellers should be aware of reports that European airlines have refused boarding to passengers travelling to Senegal who have not had either a return ticket to leave Senegal within three months or a longer-term Senegalese work/residency permit.
